WASHINGTON STATE HIGH SCHOOL HALL of FAME - ALMOST THERE!

A Major illness STRIPPED AN ASSURED SPOT IN THE WASHINGTON STATE HIGH SCHOOL Coaches’ Hall of Fame.

Coach Marsh NEEDED JUST 1 MORE Season AS A HEAD COACH TO BECOME EligibilE; longevity.

he HAS 9 of the 10 eligibility REQUIREMENTS ‘CHECKED-OFF’ and therefore remainS JUST ‘One (1) CHECKED BOX SHORT’.

RECORD SETTING PLAYERS COACHED

Dubbed the ‘Yoda’ of QB & WR Teaching by many of his peers, Coach Marsh teaches morE about how to be a truly successful High School QB or WR than you will find at any specialized camp.

He is Not saying that his camps & Clinics are ‘better’ than anyone else who puts time in to help youth! However, the fact he has coaching experience on his resume, allows him to teach leadership attributes and other oft-not taught skills. It’s why all of his Quarterbacks are extremely succesful; Regardless of the offense they are running.

Coach MArsh has been invited by many college coaches to speak to their Quarterbacks & wide receivers as well as their position coaches on how to play the game from a modern and evolutionary technical standpoint.

Even Steve Clackson, known as ‘The Godfather of QB Gurus’ in America, chose to hold his lone camp in the sate of washington at the campus where Coach Marsh was head Coach at the time. Allowing only Coach Marsh to work the clinic with him.

It is his ‘Attention to Detail’ that separates coach marsh. As well as his infectious enthusiasm.

Beyond all the Passing techniques he teaches, it’s the time he spends teaching players the fundamentals of handing-off (Something Peyton Manning spent the first 20-Minutes of every practice focusing on, had it filmed & reviewed it daily), so as never to fumble a QB/RB exchange - To how to truly be a leader in the huddle (or on the field in general) focusing on his 4 Core points to leadership. Do a work-out with him if you want to learn these 4 items that even NFL QBs have taken to heart.

As Head coaches, we are all the biproduct of those who mentored us! Thus, it is imperative that I remain relevant to all on & off the field methodologies that today’s coaches use to be successful. For me, Success is defined as a cultivating today’s young man into tomorrow’s community leaders; and eventually, the outstanding husband, father, employee & leaders we all need him to be. Therefore, culture is everything and that starts with two basic Coaching Ideals (Principles)

WE-US-OUR’ is ALWAYS BETTER THAN ‘ME-MY-I

&

EVERYTHING FIRST-CLASS

One will not be successful in the programs we lead, until they have bought completely in to those two core principles!

THE ‘FAVE-5’Coaches WHO WERE MY DIFFERENCE MAKERS:

I had the tremendous fortune of having a ‘fave-5’ group of men who molded me into the coach I am today. Coaches who, to this day, continue to inspire me to be the very best coach I can be; for my players & assistants - as well as - coaches around the world with whom I now consult, council & mentor, etc.

‘the IMPORTANCE OF THE double win’

(pat Bangasser)

‘Paying attention to FINITE Details; AKA: The little thing’

(chuck tarbox)

‘knowing, researching & understanding the science behind a position’

(shawn watson)

‘treating every player like they are your own son; even if not looking for a father figure’

(sherman Smith)

‘the psychological part of sport is equally - if not more - important than the physical part’

(Jim Zatloukal)

“Everything ‘First-Class’!”

From the bus ride to the games, to how he & his team dressed; everything in Coach Marsh’s programs was to be ‘First-Class’!

Coach Marsh & Son

While ill at Cedar Park Christian, Coach’s team stunned and opponent heavily favored to beat them with a goal-line stand to end the game while he watched from just beyond the end-zone with his son Luke.
