MY STORY

Bill believes that Dr. Leininger is one of 5 members of a team of doctors (all from different hospitals) who WAS willing to bypass their own protocols of connecting with ‘outside’ doctors to consult on his miraculous return to a normal life. Bill refers to them as his ‘Fave-5’ and remains in contact with all of them to this day.

After establishing himself as one of the most charismatic, successful and well-respected high-school football coaches in the state of Washington (click ‘Coaching Background’ for his career bio after you read this, if interested), he suffers a series of maladies that takes him to the brink of death time and time again – beginning on the morning of his 42nd birthday in 2014, when he wakes up with half his face permanently paralyzed.

Incredibly, it only gets worse from there with a remarkable 482 day journey (that began two years later in 2016) that tests Bill’s foundation and faith, but ultimately proves how resilient the human spirit can be. In a reversal of roles, the same deep love, belief and support he poured into his players as Coach Marsh helps fuel his recovery after a miraculous discovery leads to his triumphant comeback.

Finally himself again, with the love of his life, Kristi, as well their five children and GRANDCHILDREN. Bill is more inspired than ever to be a true Difference Maker to each and every person he encounters. He also is back pursuing his true passion, coaching. only now, he sees every minute of every day as a coaching opportunity about life.

Since his revival, Bill has become an ordained minister and travels the country giving motivational talks as well as serving as an emcee & auctioneer. He now embodies the no-fear, one-day-at-a-time approach to life with a contagious zest. His priority is uplifting as many people as he can, every moment of every day.
